Question 4: What question do you find yourself being asked most frequently by prospective voters and how do you handle it?
Donna Cannizzaro: Like me, many of our new and lifelong residents of Verona, have a deep appreciation of the unique, varied, warm and caring nature of this community. Verona offers wonderful attributes from our exemplary school system, devoted town employees and dedicated volunteers. Residents are concerned however, that as we are squeezed to find opportunities to keep taxes under control, comments and discussions have been made in open forums and meetings that we need to look more closely at non-essential services, yet there has been no understanding of what those services may be or what may already be identified that may affect the quality of life of our residents. Certainly, emotion will come into play; but my plan is to address each issue with an open mind, listen with a sensitive ear and make decisions without jeopardizing the well-being and betterment of our community.
Carrie cares for the same things this 85 year old
neighbor who has lived here since 1959 does. She’s
not a one issue candidate, she just loves this
community. She lives with Chris, a lifelong
Verona resident and their two beautiful children.
Carrie is articulate, bright, and an attorney who
understands contracts and other issues pertaining
to law. I think she would be a tremendous asset
to our all male council and will be objective
in her decisions Please consider a yes vote
for CARRIE FORD, you will never regret it.
