PrepVolleyball.com, which covers that sport across the country, has given Verona High School junior Carly Waterman two noteworthy honors.
Last week, Waterman was selected as a Junior National Player of the Year finalist, one of just 52 players in the entire United States to make that list. On Thursday, Waterman made Honorable Mention All-American.
Last year, PrepVolleyball.com named Waterman to its “Soph 79” list, which recognized the 79 highest achieving second-year players about of a field of about 100,000 sophomore volleyball players nationwide.
