Verona resident Griffin Willner (Papa Bear) is a part of the charming show for all ages Goldilocks on Trial, a fractured fairy tale by Ed Monk, coming to Studio Playhouse in Upper Montclair. Performances are Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on February 18, 19, 25, and 26.
Goldilocks is on trial for breaking and entering. Will she be found guilty, or will the truth come out? After hearing testimony from Goldee, the Three Bears, Merwin the Big Bad Wolf, and other familiar fairy tale characters, it’s up to Judge Wallabee and some very silly jurors to decide Goldilocks’s fate.
Goldilocks on Trial is directed by Helen Exel, and assistant directed by junior members Caitlyn O’Rourke and Eva Owgang, both 14 years old, and stage managed by Mirit Skeen, 15 years old.
