If you have a dog that is at least seven months old, or which has its permanent teeth, you’ve got to get it licensed at Verona Town Hall every year by January 31.
The fee for licensing is $10 for a dog that has been spayed or neutered, or $13 if it has not been. Payment by cash or check only; no credit cards accepted. You do not need to bring your dogs with you, but you do need to have proof of rabies vaccination. Once you have paid, you will get a metal tag that needs to be attached to the dog’s collar.
