It’s #GivingTuesday, a day to help others through donations of money, time and support, and a reminder that our lives should be as much (or more) about helping this time of year as they are about getting the latest gizmo.

All of us probably have our favorite charities for education, diseases, the environment, homelessness and more. But MyVeronaNJ.com reader Jessica Pearson compiled a list of 15 local ways to give on #GivingTuesday, and we’d like to share it with you. Click on each organization name to learn more about what it does for Verona, and the many ways that you can get involved:
