It’s #GivingTuesday, a day to help others through donations of money, time and support, and a reminder that our lives should be as much (or more) about helping this time of year as they are about getting the latest gizmo.
All of us probably have our favorite charities for education, diseases, the environment, homelessness and more. But MyVeronaNJ.com reader Jessica Pearson compiled a list of 15 local ways to give on #GivingTuesday, and we’d like to share it with you. Click on each organization name to learn more about what it does for Verona, and the many ways that you can get involved:
- The Verona Rescue Squad
- The Holy Spirit Food Pantry
- The Verona Park Conservancy
- The Verona Fire Department
- The Verona Public Library
- The Hilltop Conservancy
- The Verona Environmental Commission

Hi,
Giving Tuesday is a wonderful thing. Please don’t forget the Verona Children’s Fund c/o Connie Pifher. Wonderful program that helps our very own children and families.
Thank You
Thanks Carole for the addition. For those of you who don’t know Connie, her office is up in the Verona Community Center at 800 Bloomfield Avenue.
