cianna-coats1The Winkler family loaded up their trucks this past weekend to deliver the first load of coats collected under Cianna Winkler’s annual coat drive to the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair.

If you didn’t yet drop off a coat to one of the three locations around Verona–the Verona Community Center, First Presbyterian Church and Verona Jazzercise--don’t worry. Cianna Winkler will be collecting clean, gently used coats until Saturday, December 3.

Winkler has been engaged in a variety of community service initiatives over the years, most recently helping to organize a program to bring hot meals to those in need on the first Sunday of every month. Since its inception, her coat drive has collected thousands of coats. Winkler is an active pageant competitor and was most recently crowned Miss America’s Gateway Outstanding Teen 2017.
