forestbee2On Friday, November 4, Emily Anderson visited Forest Avenue School third graders to share her knowledge of beekeeping and honey bees.

This was a unique opportunity for the students to see the tools a beekeeper uses and it fit in nicely with the children’s study of bees and pollination.

Mrs. Anderson, Grant Fersch’s mother, also invited students to taste honey from the family beehive. It was a memorable visit for all! forestbee3
