On Tuesday, November 1, the students of Forest Avenue Elementary School participated in a mock election organized by media specialist Elissa Freda.
This one-day event allowed students to select their candidate for president, if they preferred to elect our president by electoral college or popular vote, favorite Essex County attraction, favorite star from New Jersey and which Forest Avenue School activity they enjoy the most. It was a great opportunity to discuss the voting process and to get the students interested at a young age.
Results will be announced on November 8.
