Mr. David E. Hathaway, 87, died on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. Memorial Services will take place in the First Presbyterian Church of Verona, Fairview Avenue at Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Tuesday, July 26 at 11 a.m.
Mr. Hathaway was a lifelong resident of Verona and spent his career as a landscaper in the Essex county area. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, William, Raymond and Charles.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, including his longtime caregiver Douglas Hathaway and Doug’s children, Elizabeth, Raymond and James.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
