The race is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade, with staggered start times from 9 to 10:45 a.m. and progressively more laps on the course for the older riders. Registration and inspection opens at 7:30 a.m. and closes 15 minutes before the start of each category.
Participants must pay a $10 registration fee and sign a waiver, and the participant’s bicycle must pass a technical inspection. A parent or guardian must be present to sign waiver and must be present during the race. Organizers say any bike with fatter tires can work on the course. Racers arriving by car should park in the lot located at Mountain Avenue and Courter Lane in North Caldwell. Helmets are of course mandatory.
