Completing a nearly three year search, the First Presbyterian Church of Verona is joyfully announcing its next pastor, Reverend Lynn Rubier-Capron.

Reverend Rubier-Capron, or Pastor Lynn as she is frequently called, is an experienced solo pastor, associate pastor and director of Christian education. She received her Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in 1998 and was ordained in 2001. She has been serving as minister for pastoral care in since 2012. Additionally, she is a classically trained violinist.

She was welcomed to the church on Sunday, June 5, and will begin her duties as church pastor in mid-August. An official installation has been scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday, October 9.

The church, located at 10 Fairview Avenue, invites all to come join it in celebration and welcoming of Pastor Lynn on August 21 at 9:30 a.m. (Church services will be held at 9:30 during the months of July and August and will resume their regular time of 10:15 in September.)
