4:48 PM: Officer Steve Young took a report of a theft from a Claremont Avenue resident. The resident reported that the USPS delivered a package, however, the contents of the package were missing. The value of the missing items is $621.

1:13 PM: Officer Erin McGarrity took a report of found property (key chain) on East Lincoln Street.
2:56 PM: Officer Michael Barone took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle from a Claridge Drive resident. The resident reported that someone had entered her glove compartment and removed an iPhone headset. Value of missing item is unknown at this time.

6:22 PM: Officer Chris Scheper took a report of lost property from a West Orange resident. The resident reported that he lost his wallet in the Pilgrim Shopping Plaza. The wallet contained personal identification, NJ Driver’s License and a small amount of cash.

9:56 AM: Officer Brendan Huber took a report of property damage at a Mountainview Road residence. The resident reported that a neighbor’s vehicle had rolled out of the driveway and caused damage to his front lawn and shrubs in the front of the house. The value of the damage is unknown at this time.
1:46 PM: Officer William Frazee responded to a Bloomfield Avenue business on a report of a dispute. The dispute was between the business owner and a former employee over the amount of a paycheck. The former employee was advised that he would have to contact the manager to resolve the issue.
2:10 PM: Officer William Frazee conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bloomfield Avenue after a random check of the vehicle registration showed that the owner was suspended. While checking the operator’s credentials, an active warrant form the Clifton Municipal Court was discovered. The operator, Fernando Quispe of Clifton was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. After processing he posted bail and was released.

9:58 AM: Officer William Frazee responded to a report of an attempted burglary at a Willow Terrace resident. The resident reported that a basement screen was pulled back and the window was broken. It does not appear that entry was made into the home and nothing appears to be missing at this time.
7:34 PM: Officer Thomas Conroy took a report of missing mail from a Franklin Street resident. he resident reported that over the past month, she has not received several pieces of mail. The resident has been in contact with the senders of the items, as well as the U.S. Postal Service.

8:34 PM: Officer Michael Barone took a report of a dispute at a Mount Prospect Avenue resident. The resident reported that he hired a contractor to perform work at his residence. The work was not performed on time or in a satisfactory manner. The contractor asked for additional money, which the resident declined to provide, and the resident is concerned that the contractor may return and damage his home. The resident was advised to contact police if the contractor returns.
