Verona United Soccer Club invites boys and girls, born from 2002 to 2009, who are interested in playing soccer in the 2016-2017 season to its Soccer Tryouts. Dates are May 9, 10, 12 and 13; the exact schedule can be found here.
There is no cost to attend, but each player must register online on the Verona United website . This year, there will be two tryouts per age (please note players try out as part of their birth year group, not school grade) incorporating skills challenges, small and large sided scrimmages and goalkeeper evaluations. All players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryout dates and stay for the entirety of the tryout. This gives the player the maximum opportunity to be assessed.
Participation is not limited to Verona residents, but is open to children who live in Cedar Grove, the Caldwells, Roseland, Essex Fells and Montclair.
