Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen will hold his annual Service Academy Night on Monday, May 2, at West Essex Regional High School.
Interested high school students can meet with representatives and cadets from the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. West Essex High School is located at 65 West Greenbrook Road in North Caldwell. The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
Rep. Frelinghuysen recommends that high school students who wish to attend an academy first speak with their guidance counselor or “Blue and Gold” offices. The current service academy application packet can be found on Frelinghuysen’s Website here. Frelinghuysen represents the 11th Congressional District, which includes Verona.
