Join the Cedar Grove Historical Society on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cedar Grove Public Library when Verona resident Mark Simmons will give a moving, thought-provoking and humorous presentation about one the world’s most celebrated scientists, Albert Einstein. A peek into the personal life and complexities of a man who committed his entire life to science and the repercussions it caused. Follow Einstein’s life from his childhood to bored high school dropout, from young romantic to the winner of the 1921 Nobel Peace Prize. Through anecdotes, philosophy, one-liners and at times painful recollections, Einstein talks about marriage, divorce, isolation from society and why.
Simmons brings 30 years of experience as a seasoned actor, performing in over 50 different productions on the stage both professionally and non-professionally, to the presentation. He is an avid lover of history and specializes in combining his two loves, history and drama.
There will be a short business meeting before the presentation.
