On Sunday, April 3 at the 9:30 a.m. worship service at Holy Spirit, the renowned Gospel choir of the Church of the Incarnation in Jersey City will join in praising God.
“And praise the Lord they will,” says The Rev. Gerard “Jerry” A. Racioppi, rector of Holy Spirit. “Incarnation Jersey City is a congregation in the Episcopal tradition, but their choir feels and sounds much more Baptist. We are sure to raise the roof in song on this day!”
Sunday, April 3 is also the annual Flowering of the Cross when Holy Spirit’s parishioners turn a symbol of pain and suffering into a beautiful reminder of renewal and rebirth. Anyone is invited to attend. Bring flowers from your garden or local store if you are able.
