On May 1, the Harlem Wizards will be coming to Verona to once again take on The Verona Victory—a basketball team made up of Verona’s favorite teachers and administrators.
As a warmup to the big game, on Thursday, March 24, a player from the Harlem Wizards will be visiting each of Verona’s six schools. His day will start at 8:45 a.m. at Brookdale, followed by a 9:15 a.m. appearance at F.N. Brown, 9:45 a.m. at HBW,
10:15 a.m. at Laning, 10:45 a.m. at Forest and 11:15 a.m. at VHS.
