“Stories” Art Show by Kristen Z, local artist, is compiled of her illustrations and jewelry. Kristen is a multi-faceted artist and artisan, with interests in a wide range of mediums, including cold porcelain clay, preserved insects, jewelry, crochet, paintings and illustrations. Her art style shifts and changes with each project, giving each its own unique feel while still maintaining her connection. She describes her art style “is extreme, featuring the bright, sweet, and whimsical; and the dark, morbid, and unsettling. For this reason her brand YinYang Remix is the YinYang or balance and Remix is making it new, fresh, and exciting.
Verona Library will be hosting a Kristen Z reception in the Jack Foley room on Tuesday, March 1, from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m., and light refreshments will be served. Her illustrations will remain on display in the Jack Foley room until March 31. In addition her jewelry will be displayed in the case located on the top floor of the library.
