The Verona Public Library is pleased to welcome author Ann Anderson Evans for a memoir writing workshop on Sunday, January 24 at 3 p.m.
Ann Anderson Evans is a writer and linguist, and for eight years was a professor of writing at Montclair State University. Besides teaching writing classes, she is the author of her own memoir, Daring to Date Again, and has appeared in bookstores, on numerous radio shows, and at the Tucson Festival of Books.
Says Evans, “After years of teaching and writing, I have concluded that everyone has a story. It’s just devilishly challenging to get that story onto the page, and an hour or so of instruction and practice can go a long way toward getting you started.”
Your story deserves to be written; it’s time to learn how!
The Verona Public Library is located at 17 Gould St., Verona, NJ. For more information about this or any other library event, call: 973-857-4848 or email [email protected]
