On Sunday, January 24, at 3 p.m. Congregation Beth Ahm will be screening Hester Street, a 1975 film that tells the story of Jewish immigrants who come to the Lower East Side of New York City in 1896 from Europe and live on Hester Street in Manhattan. Come join us for this fascinating examination of the immigrant experience in America.
There will be a $5 cover charge per person for the movie and “Lower East Side”-themed refreshments. Congregation Beth Ahm is located at 56 Grove Ave. in Verona. For more information, please contact [email protected] or 973-239-0754
