On Saturday December 12, Verona Police PBA Local 72 held its annual Christmas Tree Drive. Members loaded Christmas trees onto a few pickup trucks and delivered them to area families.
“This is the seventh year for the drive and it’s a great success,”said Justin R. Nielsen, who coordinated this years event. “I think that it’s a great tradition and it’s a unique opportunity to help others in our community. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when everyone works together.”
All the Christmas trees and stands were purchased from Hillcrest Farms in Verona.
