Saturday is game day: The championship of the North 1 Group 1 football teams, and it will be Verona (11-0) against Cedar Grove (9-2) in the finals.
The game is being played at Kean University in Union and kick-off is at 10 a.m. Set the GPS for Kean Alumni Stadium, Green Lane, Union.
Tickets are $5.50 for adults and $2 for seniors and students. Parking is free.
Fans can get an early start to the day with the team sendoff. It’s at 7:15 a.m. at Verona High School. The Fifth Downers want students to know that they are sponsoring a free fan bus for the first 35 student fans who sign up at [email protected].
