The 19th annual Verona Fair in the Square will be held on Saturday, December 5 in front of Town Hall. Most activities start at noon and run through the end of the fair at 5 p.m. Here is the schedule of events:
12 noon – 5:00 p.m.: Sale of crafts and merchandise
12 noon – 5:00 p.m.: Automobile display (Presenter DeCozen Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram)
12 noon – 5:00 p.m.: Sale and pickup of luminaries (Verona Essex Juniorettes and Woman’s Club of Verona)
12 noon – 4:00 p.m.: Eye and ear screenings, Eye and Ear Mobile Unit (Verona Lions Club)
12 noon – 5:00 p.m.: Local community organizations with giveaways, games, activities or special sales
12 noon – 5:00 p.m.: Book sale (Friends of the Verona Public Library)
12 noon – 5:00 p.m.: Castle Bouncy House (Sponsored by Verona UNICO)
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Petting zoo (Co-sponsor: Eight Hills Catering)
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Horse-drawn wagon ride. Boarding on Gould Street behind Town Hall (Co-sponsor: Eight Hills Caterers)
1:30 – 2:15 p.m.: Verona HBW Brass Ensemble, directed by Brian Michalowski
2:00 – 3:30 p.m.: Take Your Photo with Santa. Bring your camera
4:30 – 5:00 p.m.: Arrival of Santa, Santa’s Helpers Bearing Candy Canes, Tree Lighting (Sponsored by Verona Fire Department, mayor and Council members)
