Steven and Brendan Semeraro will collect sneakers for the Max Cures Foundation from Monday, October 5 to Monday, October 12 at the Verona Public Library. There will also be a collection box at Our Lady of the Lake Church from Saturday, October 10 through Sunday, October 11. A box will be placed inside both drop off sites.
The Dunk Your Kicks fundraiser allows Max Cures Foundation to receive money by collecting and selling the used sneakers to an international recycler of used clothing, who resells the shoes as affordable footwear in developing nations.
