Blessing Of The Animals At First Presbyterian

BlessingAnimals2015The First Presbyterian Church of Verona located at 10 Fairview Avenue will have its annual Blessing of the Animals Service Sunday, July 18, at 9:30 a.m. on the shaded front lawn of the church. In case of inclement weather the service will be moved inside the church to Chamberlain Hall.

The service will be led Christian Ed Facilator, Christina Turkington. Music will be provided by Diane Battersby, Director of Music, and her daughter, Lorian who will be singing “Bless The Beasts And Children.”

All are invited to attend this casual service with their pets. (Stuffed animals are also welcomed!). Following the service there will be refreshments for all animals (humans too)!
