The Boy Scouts of America‘s Northern New Jersey Council Council gave its Distinguished Healthcare Provider Award to Verona resident Steve Chait at a June 3 event held at the Mayfair Farms in West Orange.
Chait, who works as a paramedic at University Hospital in Newark, was the first EMS recipient of the award.
