On Tuesday, June 2, the Verona Sports Boosters awarded its annual Male and Female Athletes of the Year as well as the Maroon & White Coaches Award. This year, Frank Ferrari was named the Senior Male Athlete of the Year and Julia Ashley (not pictured) was awarded the Senior Female Athlete of the Year. Paige Ferrell and Matt Intilli were awarded the Maroon & White Award, which is presented every year to a senior male and female athlete that exemplifies perseverance, enthusiasm, toughness and dedication for their sport.
