Verona residents Devyn Bevilacqua, Catherine Cordero and Jenni Lyon, along with Cedar Grove residents Magdalena Botrous and Daniella Shaker, will perform at the annual student piano recital presented by Michael Palmieri at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 30 North Fullerton Ave., Montclair, on Saturday, June 13, at 2 p.m.
Devyn Bevilacqua, a Verona High School tenth grade student, will play Mazurka Op. 67, No. 2 by F. Chopin.
Magdalena Botrous, who attends Mount St. Dominic Academy, where she is in tenth grade, will play P. Glass’ Opening.
Catherine Cordero, a Verona High School tenth grade student, will play Nocturne Op. 9, No. 2 by F. Chopin.
Jenni Lyon, another tenth grade Verona High School student, will play Sonata K. 545, Mo. 2 by W. A. Mozart..
Michael Palmieri, a professional musician, composer and Verona/Cedar Grove piano teacher for 38 years, had annually presented his pupils at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
The June 13, 2015 recital at The Church of the Immaculate Conception is free and open to the public.
