The Verona Sports Boosters would like to congratulate Frank Ferrari of the Verona High School golf team as the boy’s senior athlete of the week.
Although he achieved All-State Group 1 First Team honors in football this year, and was a key member of the boys basketball team, it is for golf that Ferrari is being recognized.
Ferrari shot a school record 31, which is 5 under par, at Crestmont Country Club versus West Orange. His round included 3 birdies and an eagle.
Next year, Ferrari will be taking his talents to Colgate where he will continue his football career.
When not on the golf course or football field, Ferrari loves to eat chocolate cake. His favorite movie is Iron Man and his favorite musician is the Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi. He is also a fan of the New York Giants.
If he could have dinner with anyone, Ferrari said he would choose Bill Gates. The best vacation he ever took was the first time he went to Costa Rica.
The Verona Sports Boosters wish Ferrari continued success at Colgate and all his future endeavors.
