Verona’s sixth grade girls Suburban basketball team will be looking for an unprecedented back-to-back basketball championship win on Tuesday, March 3.
During their fifth grade Suburban season the girls compiled a 14-0 record, finishing as the only undefeated Suburban team in Verona history. The girls answered the 2014-2015 season by going 10-2 this year. They have again advanced to the championship after beating Caldwell 29-21 on Tuesday night.
The big game starts at 7 p.m. at Verona Community Center and all of the girls hope Verona will be there to support them.
