Women Inspiring, Nurturing, Giving Strength & Support, the cancer support group better known as WINGS, has a session coming up on Thursday, February 5, to give support to other cancer patients.

Participants that evening will paint ceramic hearts and write special notes of good wishes that will be distributed to cancer patients at various hospitals. Hearts of Hope is a “pay it forward” community service program, run by a nationwide group of volunteers who reach out and offer support to others. Hearts of Hope has distributed more than 50,000 hearts to date. All materials will be provided and organizers say “no artistic ability necessary”.

WINGS meets at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, from 7 to 9 p.m. All programs include introduction, presentation and time for sharing. All services and programs are free of charge.
Please register for programs by phone at 973-400-9529 or email [email protected].
