The very tight Verona real estate market may be getting a bit of a thaw.

On January 21, there were only 49 active listings of single-family homes, condos and coops in Verona, the lowest level of inventory since 2006. This weekend, eight properties are being added to those listings, and some of them are quite big.  Four homes have four bedrooms or more, and there’s a townhouse condo in the Kips Ridge complex that straddles the Verona-Montclair border that has 4,087 square feet of living space.

There are also five open houses and two Verona listings with lower prices. As you look them over, remember that, according to realtor Rhodes Van Note & Co., the average listing for a single-family here was active for just seven weeks in 2014.
