Captain Frank Ferrari was the offensive leader for the Hillbillies. A four-year starter, Ferrari rushed for over 1,500 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also passed for another 10 TDs and almost 600 yards. His brother Bill Ferrari, another captain, was injured in the third game of the season, but made it back for the semi-final game. Limited to five games, Bill still caught seven passes for 142 yards and a TD. A third captain, Matt Intili, was second on the team in rushing, amassing over 650 yards on the ground and 8 TDs.
Luke Connell was the team’s leading receiver with 10 catches for 140 yards and two TDs. Juniors Dave Gautieri and John DeMartinis each contributed this season: DeMartinis caught five passes for 60 yards and Gautieri had four catches for 80 yards and three TDs.
The team’s 4th captain, Mike Cifaretto, spearheaded the offensive line that churned out nearly 3,000 yards rushing. The rest of Cif’s linemates were senior Matt Riccitelli and juniors Sam Cummings, Chris Luehs, Kyle Brennan and Gautieri.
