Again this year, the Verona Lions Club will provide FREE eye and ear screenings at the Verona Township’s annual Fair in the Square, Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
The Verona Lions Club has hired the State of NJ Lions’ Eye and Ear Mobile. This vehicle provides the equipment necessary for the hired technicians to conduct competent sight and hearing screenings.
To receive a free sight and hearing screening, residents can simply stop by the Lions Eye/Ear Mobile location between 12 noon and 4:00 p.m., complete a brief application and the screenings will be conducted by professionals. Each participant will receive the results of their sight and hearing screening. If necessary, recommendations may be made suggesting the person should pursue further professional eye and/or ear examinations and treatment by their chosen physician.
Verona Lions Club member volunteers will be present to assist residents with the basic application process and to insure each person understands the nature of these free sight and hearing screenings.
