Coach Jeff Stiefbold’s girls volleyball team ended their successful season with a 13-11 record and a key piece of the team was Jackie Brunner. Jackie completed her season with 69 service points and 14 aces. She also had 136 kills.

Her favorite memory from her Verona High School volleyball career is winning the title of conference champions. She also loves when Coach Stiefbold attempts to serve the ball into the basketball hoop in practice.AOW-Brunner1

Jackie has no favorite musician but enjoys listening to country music as well as some pop. Her favorite TV show is Criminal Minds, and like many teenagers, her favorite food is pizza. Her greatest vacation memory is of a trip to the Bahamas. If Jackie had the opportunity to have dinner with any person living or dead, she would dine with Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio.

The Verona Sports Boosters wish Jackie the best of luck in all her future endeavors. During the 2014-2015 school year, the Verona Sports Boosters will recognize a different male and female senior athlete at Verona High School every week. The Boosters support male and female athletes in all VHS sports through a variety of fundraisers and recognition events.
