Jane Eliasof, the Verona resident who heads the Montclair Historical Society has let us know that the MHS is holding another photo digitizing event this morning, Saturday, November 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. MHS has partnered with Digital Memory Media and if you drop off your photos, slides, videos, or films at the MHS’ Crane House today, the company will return them to you along with a digital version on a CD, DVD, or flash drive. There’s a charge for this, of course, but 20% of the proceeds go the to the Montclair Historical Society.

The Crane House is located at 108 Orange Road, which is the traffic light just past Whole Foods as you are heading into downtown Montclair.
