HalloweenCandyIf your goblins get an excess of Halloween candy on Friday, you’ll want to know about the project at Forest Avenue’s Cub Scout Pack 31.

The Scouts are collecting unopened candy, which will then be sent to our troops serving overseas through Operation Gratitude. The organization’s mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of active duty and veteran soldiers. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than One Million care packages.

Your unopened and unused candy can be dropped off at the Verona Community Center in a marked bin through November 10.
