Volleyball-Caldwell2014There was tight team play from the Verona High School volleyball team, but Caldwell came out ahead on Monday afternoon 25-19, 25-19,

Alex Luehs, who blew through 500 career assists early this season, added 21 more to her total in the contest, while freshman Cameron Fuentez led both teams in digs with 10. Carly Waterman led both teams in kills with 11, putting her at 145 for the season.

Verona now 7-7, travels to Livingston on Wednesday to face the team that is ranked No. 1 in the Super Essex Conference with a perfect 14-0 record.
