Synagogue Launches Children’s Program

BlueDreidelJewish AdventureTime, a new monthly Sunday-morning program for children ages 2 to 7 will launch in September at Congregation Beth Ahm, Verona featuring holiday-related crafts, music, stories and all-around fun.

First semester workshops take place on September 14, October 5, November 9, December 14 and January 11 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Kosher snacks will be served. The cost is $8 per session for one child/$12 for two children or $36 for one child/$54 for two children for the five-session first semester. The fee covers craft materials and snacks. Family members are invited to stay and participate.

The program will be directed by Shelley Schwartz Hargrove, a long-time synagogue member, mother, lawyer and experienced teacher. She looks forward to introducing the children to the fun and excitement of celebrating Jewish holidays and traditions.
