Junior Legion Team Finishes On Top

Legion 2014The Verona Junior Legion baseball team ended its season with a record of 10-5-1. The team includes (top, l-r): Coach Verschleiser, Coach Kistner, Kevin Kistner, Dan Ligon, Dominic Gamarro, Quinn Lawless, Tony Mancini, Robert Coppola, Dean Ramsthaler, Coach Hill and Coach Fitzmaurice; (bottom, 1-r) Jake Anquillare, Wade Kistner, Todd Roshong, Mike Daggett, Dean Longo, Nick Zamloot and Anthony Pedicini. The team is part of the American Legion baseball tradition, which dates back to 1925. There are 105 American Legion baseball teams in New Jersey, including 38 Junior Legion teams.
