Tevlin-Surveillance1The Star Ledger says Essex County detectives are still pursuing leads in the murder two weeks ago of Brendan Tevlin, the nephew of two Verona families.

In a story published yesterday, the paper says that Essex County Prosecutor’s Office has not revealed any motive for the killing and there have been no arrests. But the report offers perhaps the most detailed timeline yet in the crime. Tevlin, a college student from Livingston, was shot multiple times at the intersection of Northfield and Walker avenues in West Orange on Wednesday, June 25, just before midnight. The Star Ledger‘s story gives more details about the location of the security camera that captured the images shown here, which may show witnesses to the crime, as well as Tevlin’s activities that evening. You can read the full story here.

Tevlin’s aunt and uncle, Kathleen Tevlin Nulty and Thomas Tevlin of Verona, have been urging the public to tell what they know. The prosecutor’s tips line is (877) 847-7432.
