This summer the New Jersey Basketball Academy will be offering local basketball camps at the Verona Community Center.
Session 1 is June 23 to 27 and Session 2 is July 14 to 18. There will also be a camp at Verona High School from August 4 to 8. The camps are for boys and girls ages 7 to 15 and will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of each camp is $195.
Bill Maranz, a Verona resident, will direct the camps. Coach Maranz has thirteen years of coaching experience at the collegiate level in Division I, II and III as well as five years of professional coaching experience in the United States Basketball League (USBL).
