Alex Fiedler is one of just 167 high school students nationwide who have been selected for the Grammy Foundation’s 10th annual Grammy Camp.

The camp is a nine-day residential program that focuses on all aspects of commercial music. It is held in four different locations across the United States. Fiedler, who is completing his junior year at Verona High School, will attend the camp in New York City, which is held at the Converse Rubber Tracks professional recording studio in Brooklyn.

The New York program features six music career tracks: audio engineering, electronic music production, songwriting, video production, vocal performance and a performance track for bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, winds and strings. All tracks culminate in media projects, CD recordings and/or performances. Fiedler will be following the vocal performance track.
