UPDATE: The game has been postponed to Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m.
It’s going to be a late night for Verona and Cedar Grove baseball fans tomorrow–if the weather cooperates.
Tuesday night, April 29, is supposed to be the annual rivalry fundraiser game between Verona and Cedar Grove at  Jackals stadium. But because Montclair State is now in an NJAC championship game against Kean University, our game has been pushed from a 7 p.m. start to 8 p.m.  The gates will open to Hillbilly and Panther fans a half hour before that and, as always, youth players wearing their jerseys will be admitted for free.
That’s all if Mother Nature cooperates, which looks like a big “if” right now. There’s a 40% chance of rain during the day tomorrow, rising to an 80% probability at night.
We’ll keep you posted.
