Evie & John McCullough & her sister Dot all bowled in a Friday night league at the Verona Lanes in the early 1960s (my parents were the token non-Scots in the league). I’d tag along to keep score & got to know them all. Evie always had the highest average among the women. Her husband John usually vied with Bill Glen & Mickey Mysko for the top average among the men. Both Evie & John were extremely graceful bowlers & a delight to know.
