Most of you know now about Zoey Penny, the young Verona girl who is affected with progeria, a disease that is causing her to age rapidly. Team Zoey, the foundation that has rallied around her family to raise money for the Progeria Research Foundation, has emailed us to say that the Dave Matthews Band is holding a special fundraiser for PRF.
The band is pledging on its Facebook page to donate $1 per view for the next 10,000 views of an inspirational talk recently given by a young man who also has progeria. The talk is on TEDx and you can click here to watch it.
The Dave Matthews Band challenge runs only through December 31.
