Despite the weather on Saturday, December 14, the Christmas Workshop held at the First Presbyterian Church of Verona (10 Fairview Avenue) was a huge success. The kids sang, made cookies and crafts and decorated the church Christmas tree.

The church will have two Christmas Eve services on the 24th. One at 4 p.m. is specially geared towards families where all children are invited to participate in the telling of the Christmas Story and will be led by Christian Education Facilitator Christian Turkington and the Newkirk family. A more traditional 9 p.m. service of lessons and carols will be led by Erik Burgos and Beth Shorten and will feature music specially selected by Choir Director Charlotte Cunningham.

For more information on services or for directions, call the church at 973-239-3561.
