Verona’s public schools have sent out an email saying that the district is experiencing an email outage. No, we’re not sure how they did that.
“Email became unavailable at approximately 8 am this morning,” the email said. “We are working quickly to resolve the issue. If you have sent an email, and do not receive a response within 24 hours, please resend your email. An update will be posted on www.veronaschools.org.”
This is rather frustrating. I hope that whoever is in charge of the email system is being proactive about finding a new provider or replacing the technology that keeps breaking on them. Email hosting can be hard, but only if you choose to make it hard by choosing a bad vendor or a bad technology implementation.
