The fair is open to the public and will be especially helpful to seventh- and eighth-grade students and their families. Applications to the district’s four schools – Essex County Newark Tech and Essex County North 13th Street in Newark, Essex County Bloomfield Tech and Essex County West Caldwell Tech – will be available on site.
Those attending will meet students, graduates, faculty and administrators from the four Essex County high schools and visit booths that feature the academic programs available. There is no need to pre-register. The school fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Essex County Newark Tech, 91 West Market Street in Newark.
