MyVeronaNJ-First-PresbyterianThe First Presbyterian Church of Verona (located at 10 Fairview Road) invites the community to join with them on Sunday, November 24 at 10:15 a.m. for a service of Thanksgiving. The service will feature traditional Thanksgiving hymns and a sermon by guest pastor Ed Clysdale.

Immediately following the service there will be light refreshments and a chance to “shop” at our Alternative Christmas Mall. The Alternative Christmas Mall is a way to make for you to make a donation to one of many charities that will be at the church. Why purchase another tie or book when for a friend or family you could make a donation of any amount to the Verona Children’s Fund, Heifer International or a number of other organizations. Additionally, the church’s Thrift Shop will also be open, if you feel you need to make a more tangible holiday purchase.

For more information on the Sunday service, the Alternative Christmas Mall or The Thrift Shop, please call the church at 973-239-3561.
